Özet

Standalone inverters are now increasingly used in distributed grid and smart grid applications. This paper aims to develop close loop control methods for the single-phase quasi-Z-source inverters (qZSIs). The advantages of a qZSI, like single-stage operation, lower component rating, continuous input current, and DC bus, led to an investigation of this converter for standalone applications. This paper presents a standalone QZSI with both AC and DC side controls. The proportional resonant (PR) control is designed to achieve ac-side voltage control. At the same time, voltage control of dc-side is achieved by using proportional-integral (PI) control method. Fast dynamic response and reduced harmonics are shown through simulation results. Simulation results are presented to show the performance of the proposed control method.
