Increasing greenhouse gas emissions cause global warming and climate problems. In order to prevent climate change and global warming problems, it is necessary to reduce emissions and the use of fossil fuels. Within the scope of the Paris Climate Agreement, it is aimed to reduce carbon emission values, to produce their own energy, to operate and to systems with the least environmental pollution. In this study, it was aimed to make a new eco design for the drying of timber with solar energy in different conditions with a sustainable system. Drying defects significantly affect the quality of dried timber. With a design with a new airflow structure, it was aimed to generate both hot air and electricity with solar energy. An eco design closed loop temperature and relative humidity controlled drying system that produces its own energy was designed, with new type of energy storage and efficient use of energy. With the system put forward, it was aimed to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon emission value and environmental pollution. Assuming a specific energy consumption value of 3.03 kWh/kg water, in this design, when 1 ton of moisture is taken from the product, 1.33 tons of CO2-equivalent greenhouse gas emission will be prevented. An eco design closed loop drying system with low operating costs was put forth.
