Glucose was oxidized to oxalic acid in mixed nitric acid, sulphuric acid and V2O5 catalyst reaction media, and the kinetic values were determined for the reaction. To this end, changing of glucose concentration in time was observed at various temperatures. The activation energy of oxalic acid formation was determined as E-a = 45.65 kJ/mole, and the equation of the reaction rate was obtained: -r(A) = 1.28 x 10(5) e(-45650.5/n) C-A.
