Felsefe ve edebiyat insanın kendi varoluşunu açığa vurduğu iki farklı etkinlik alanıdır. Felsefe, varlık,

bilgi ve değerler hakkında toplu bir görüş, bütünlüklü bir bilgi elde etme amacı güder. Dil ile bütünleşmiş

bulunan kavramsal örgü, felsefenin bizzat kendisini oluşturur. Felsefi etkinlik bir kültür bütünlüğünde

ve o kültürün diliyle hayat bulur. Diğer taraftan edebiyat ise, genellikle sanatsal güzelliğe sahip

olduğu iddia edilebilen yazılı eserlerin bir bölümü olarak tanımlanabilir. Edebiyat, yazılı eserlere

ilişkin bir sanat türüdür. O, yaşamlarımızın aynasıdır. Yaşamlarımız ve yaşamlarımızla ilgili konuların

tümü edebiyatın konu ya da ögeleri olabilir. Felsefe ve edebiyat birbirlerinden farklı alanlar olmalarına

rağmen kesiştikleri noktalar da vardır. Bu çalışma felsefe ve edebiyat ilişkisini ele almaktadır.

Philosophy and Literature

Abstract

Philosophy and literature are two distinct means of activities in which human beings reveal their own

existences. Philosophy aims at obtaining a collective view, complete knowledge as to being, knowledge

and values. The conceptual pattern which is integrated with language constitutes the philosophy

itself. Philosophical activity gains value within a culturel integrity and through the language of that

particular culture. On the other hand, literature actually may be defined as any piece of writing that

can claim that it has artistic beauty. Literature is the art of written works. It is the mirror of our lives.

Our lives and all the subjects that are related to our lives can be the subject matters or elements of literature.

Although philosophy and literature distinct means from each other, there are cases in which

they intersect with each other. This study handles the relationship between philosophy and literature.
