Abstract

Deniz Ali Baba dervish lodge is located in Ruscuk-Tutrakan, Bulgaria and it has performed great role in terms of Bektashism in the Balkans. Haydar Cemil Baba, who uses his pen name in his poems, is the last dervish leader of this dervish lodge. He died in 15 May 1962 (on Tuesday, at six o'clock) after he had been the leader of dervish lodge during 23 years. Suleyman Saltik, who is one of the friends of Haydar Cemil Baba, immigrated to Turkey with his family, and when he was 90 years old he died in 19 October 2001.
