The disease can affect cardiovascular system as well as skin, eye, musculoskeletal system, and the nervous system. Cardiovascular complications are seen in more than a third of patients, and it is among the main causes of death due to BD. The incidence of vascular involvement varies between 7-29% and can be observed as arterial occlusion, aneurysm and venous occlusion. Arterial vascular complications constitute 10-15% of vascular complications. Aneurysm is the most common arterial complication. Surgical repair is the standard approach in treatment of arterial aneurysm; but the results are not promising because of postoperative recurrences. Endovascular stent-graft treatment is an alternative approach applied recently in patients with aortic and arterial aneurysm. This paper describes a patient with endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm successfully treated with stent grafts.
