Abstract

At least 15% of the cancer patients receiving parenteral opioids become tolerant to their analgesic effect. Opioid rotation may be used in these patients. In this article, opioid tolerant patient and uncontrolled pain even though opioid rotation has been applied was discussed and threatment modalities in opioid tolerance has been evaluated.
