INTRODUCTION High levels of anticardiolipin (aCL) antibodies may predict vascular complications that could develop in type 1 diabetes and auto-immune thyroiditis (AIT). However, the clinical relevance of these antibodies in subjects with type 1 diabetes and AIT is unclear.
