Özet

Nowadays, Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) technology becomes widespread to interconnect different energy grids in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems. However, it is relatively new technology that needs to improve active and reactive power flow controls in order to reduce voltage deviations and also increase robustness of the overall system performance against the faults. This study is related to the specified control problem of the MMC based HVDC systems. In this study, PI-controllers used in internal current control, DC voltage control, and active and reactive power controls of MMC based HVDC power transmission system is adjusted simultaneously with the A sine-cosine algorithm as a powerful heuristic method.
