İş kazası; işin yapımı veya yürütü lmesi gibi faaliyetler sırasında meydana gelen, sonucunda ölüm, fiziksel veya ruhsal kayıplara neden olan olaydır. Türkiye iş kazası sayısı bakımından Dünya’da üçüncü Avrupa’da ise birinci sırada yer almaktadır. Büyük bir sektör olan inşaat sektörü, iş kaz ası riski yüksek, iş kazası görülme oranı fazla ve özellikle ölümlü iş kazası sayısı ile diğer sektörlerin üzerinde olan bir iş koludur. İnşaat sektöründe yapılan işler çok tehlikeli işler kapsamına girmektedir. Bu nedenle iş kazası sıklığı ve risk büyüklü ğü diğer sektörlere göre daha fazladır. Tüm dünyada olduğu Türkiye’de de önemli bir sektör olan inşaat sektörünün fiziki ve manevi kayıpların yanı sıra çok büyük mali kayıplara da sebep olduğu da yapılan araştırmalar sonucu ortaya konulmuştur. Telafisi müm kün olmayan olumsuz manevi sorunların yanında maddi kayıpları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu çalışma nın amacı; inşaat sektöründe meydana gelen iş kazaların ın getirdiği maliyetler açısından analizini yapmak ve neden olduğu mali kayıpları veriler ışığında değerlendirmektir. Bütün iş kolları maddi amaçlar için faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir. Bu nedenle mali hedefleri de olumsuz etkileyen iş kazası maliyetleri incelenecektir. İnceleme ile bu maliyetlerin Türkiye ekonomisindeki önemi ve karşılığı da ele alınaca ktır. Ayrıca; inşaat sektöründe meydana gelen iş kazalarının görünen (direkt) maliyetlerinin yanında görünmeyen (dolaylı) maliyetleri de analiz edilecektir.
Work accident; It is an event that occurs during activities such as the construction or execution of the work, resulting in death, physical or mental losses. Turkey ranks third in the world and first in Europe in terms of the number of occupational accidents. The construction sector, which is a large sector, is a business line with a high risk of occupational accidents, a high incidence of occupational accidents, and especially the number of fatal occupat ional accidents, which is above other sectors. Works done in the construction industry are considered very dangerous jobs. For this reason, the frequency and risk size of occupational accidents are higher than in other sectors. As a result of the researche s, it has been revealed that the construction sector, which is an important sector in Turkey as well as in the whole world, causes great financial losses as well as physical and moral losses. In addition to negative moral problems that cannot be compensate d, it also brings financial losses. The aim of this study; The aim is to analyze the work accidents in the construction sector in terms of the costs and to evaluate the financial losses caused by the data. All business lines continue their activities for f inancial purposes. For this reason, the costs of work accidents, which negatively affect the financial targets, will be examined. The importance and value of these costs in the Turkish economy will also be discussed with the review. Moreover; In addition t o the visible (direct) costs of occupational accidents occurring in the construction sector, invisible (indirect) costs will also be analyzed.
