Hemhorroid which is one of the most common anorectal disease, is seen in large number of people and affect their life quality. Hemorrhoidal disease problems are solved by an approach that is assessed according to the stage of the disease and many techniques are used in the treatment of the disease, including medical and surgical treatments. Hot water sitz bath and hot shower which are considered as medical treatments, are used at presurgery and after surgery treatment of hemhorroid. These methods, which have been used for many years, have positive effects as well as negative effects. In this literature review, it is aimed to evaluate the stuides, data and results obtained from the research about the use of hot water sitting bath or hot shower after hemorrhoidectomy. During literature survey, enough resources were not found about hot water sitz bath and hot shower after hemhorroid treatment. It has been reported that the application of hot water has positive effects on pain after interventional hemorrhoidectomy.
