Özet

Supplying critical loads with uninterrupted energy is especially important in areas such as healthcare services, data centers and sensitive industrial applications. This study introduces a multiport power converter for supplying critical loads under weak or strong grids. Developed multi-port power electronic converters provide an uninterrupted power flow from different energy sources and offer more flexible solutions regarding energy continuity. A feedforward control structure was designed in a multi-port power electronics converter and this structure was modeled in the MATLAB Simulink environment. The control algorithm is optimized for fast transient response and minimizing steady-state errors. The dynamic performance of the system was tested with simulations. Simulation results show that the proposed feedforward control structure performs well in protecting critical loads in transient situations and operates precisely in steady state.
