In this study, in order to heat and cool a room which has a volume-20,7 m(3) a vertical typeground-sourced heat pump system that is of 40 m boring depth was established. The energy and exergy analysis of GSHP (ground-sourced heat pump) system was determined as a function of the boring depth for both heating and cooling seasons. The coefficient of performance of the heat pump (COPHP) and the coefficient of performance of the system (COPSYS) for heating season was calculated as 3,85 and 3,45, respectively. Furthermore, while the exergy efficiency of the heat pump unit is 77%, the exergy efficiencyof whole system is 71%. COPHP and the COPSYS) for cooling season was figured out as 3,12 and 2,81, respectively. Moreover, the exergy efficiency of the heat pump unit is 78,6%, the exergy efficiency of whole system is 70.8%.
