AA 35-year-old female had a 3 × 3.5 cm sized left lower lobe mass lesion in which malignancy had not been excluded. The mass lesion was resected under left posterolateral thoracotomy. The histopathologic diagnosis was solitary fibrous tumor. Here we report an unusual case that could not be diagnosed by fine needle biopsy and surgical resection provided the diagnosis and cure.
