Today, the factors affecting the competition between businesses in the global world are increasing more and more over the years. Using the latest technology alone is not enough to stay ahead of the competition. The effect of Research & Development (R&D) activities is quite high in increasing the efficiency of the enterprises in the market. In this study, it is emphasized that using technologies in R&D to increase quality in every activity and every process of the enterprise can provide more competitive advantage. The concept of Quality 4.0 has been explained and how it can be applied in R&D has been investigated. Blockchain technology is used to store data in R&D.
