Özet
This study aims to analyze the safety risks that arise from the fuel spill accident during fueling operations in aviation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Under various environmental conditions, the evaporation of fuel spills, dispersion of fuel vapors in the air and explosions that can occur via an ignition source are modeled via CFD. The model was run again according to different environmental conditions, and the worst possible scenario was determined. Affected areas due to spills were determined according to the worst-case scenario.
