© 2021 IEEE.The use of unlicensed software can be vulnerable to cyber-attacks that cause a lot of material or moral loss. This study conducted a survey of unlicensed software usage. Research aims to measure the level of pirated software usage and community awareness. The data is collected in Turkey. As a result of the information obtained, an overall assessment has been made, recommendations are given to reduce the use and adverse effects of unlicensed software.
