Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) are utilized in manufacturing processes to verify the conformity of a component to specified design features and tolerances, aiding in the early detection of defective parts. It enables the attainment of higher quality products at a lower cost. This study aims to investigate the impact of CMMs on quality and efficiency by conducting a survey with relevant companies in Ankara, Istanbul, and Bursa. Before creating the surveys, a literature review was conducted, and the obtained information was shared with company officials. Based on the feedback, 21 questions were formulated using a 5-point Likert scale to align with the research objectives. The survey, created in electronic format, was sent to 30 companies operating in various sectors such as defense and aviation, mold industry, automotive industry, and manufacturing industry, all of which have CMMs. The responses were evaluated, and the results were shared. One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used in the analysis process of the survey. The survey results indicate that CMMs are widely used in major cities, creating a new business area, and significantly increasing both quality and efficiency.
