Özet

The purpose of this study is to determine the accountability practices implemented by school counselors in relation to the comprehensive guidance program. The research was conducted by using qualitative research methods. In this study, 'Accountability Applications Determination Questionnaire' developed by researchers was used to collect data about accountability applications. 111 school counselors participated in the study. Based on the findings, most of the school counselors carry out accountability practices. Individual interviews are most commonly used to collect accountability information. The most common obstacle to accountability practices is the belief that it will take a lot of time. In order to overcome these obstacles, it is stated that cooperation is generally done. It was concluded that there is a need for accountability training from professional organizations or universities.
