Özet

In this study, St37-2 construction steel has been welded through MIG/MAG welding method that has a wide range of application in industry. The mixture of the shielded gasses in MIG/MAG welding process. In the study three different mixture of gases were used. These mixture of these gas were 80Ar+18CO2+2O2, 88Ar+10CO2+2O2 and 93Ar+5CO2+2O2. After welding procedure the effect of the mixture on the fatigue bending strength was investigated. The reseults of the tests shoved that the the mixtur of 88Ar+ 10CO2+2O2 shielding gas gives beter fatigue bending strength but there is not much more differance between test results. It has been found out that of three gas mixtures used for joints, 88Ar+ 10CO2+2O2 gas mixture had the highest fatigue resistance, although no significant difference has been observed when compared to the others.
