Gas turbine power plants, when compared to other power plants, due to their low investment cost, fast load change characteristic, low installation time and releasing low harmful emissions with respect to coal fired power plants, in our country, especially with the support of private sector, were established and currently operate. According to 2030 electricity consumption projections, it is approximately twice of 2008 consumed electricity. On the other hand, power plants performance can be increased by taking some performance augmenter precautions and determine the best installation place for new ones. Ambient temperature, pressure and relative humidity in the air have a great effect on a plant performance. Therefore, the installation place of the gas turbine power plants should be chosen the most efficient energy conversion and the minimum payback time.
