Özet

In this study, whether or not a significant correlation exists between self-esteem and shyness in young university students was investigated. This research was performed according to general survey model. The universe of the study consists of young people studying arts and design in Ankara, Turkey. Sample of the study consists of 40 students. These students were selected by employing random group sampling. Shyness scale and Coopersmith self-esteem inventory were used to collect the data required by the study. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
