Özet

Yemen has been the most troubled and far region of the Ottoman Empire. Since the beginning of the First World War. Form the pre war period of the First World War the Ottoman empire had struggled with the local tribes as well as had to resist the attacts of the colonial states to rulet the region. During the first world war with the efforts of both the Ottoman soldiers and the last Ottoman governor Mahmut Nedim Bey the British couldn't succeed in controlling the parts that they wanted to rule. Imam Yahya took control of the region with the assistance of the last Ottoman governor of Yemeni Mahmut Nedim Bey and established the todays Yemen with the armistice treaty after the first world war.
