In this study, since it can be analyzed in term of practically and easily in application, longitudinal flux permanent magnet linear synchronous generator which was chosen as 1 kW have been designed and analyzed in electromagnetic way. In order to benefit from wave energy that is kind of an alternative and clean energy and continuing to implement its popularity, it has been wanted to determine an optimum generator construction. Static magnetic analyzing and designing of the linear synchronous generator which was chosen have been done as 3 dimensional with analytic and finite elements methods (Ansoft Maxwell 3D program). In this way, electrical and magnetic parameters and quantities have been calculated; the static magnetic data obtained have been commented. In this design, saturation of magnetic material has been considered, it has been interfered where needed; thus more accurate results have been obtained in the calculation.
