Abstract

371 vascular plants belonging to 53 families are reported. The families Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Lamiaceae and Brassicaceae represent the highest number of species: 52 (14%), 44 (11.8%), 36 (9.7%) and 30 (8.0%), respectively. The genera with the highest number of species are Astragalus, 22 (5.9%); Centaurea, 10 (2.7%); Silene and Salvia, 8 (2.1%). According to the phytogeographical regions, the numbers of the collected taxa are Irano-Turanian, 161 (43.3%); Euro-Siberian, 16 (4.2%); Mediterranean, 13 (3.5%); cosmopolits and unknown, 181 (48.7%). 94 endemic species were recorded. -from English summary
