The aim of the study is to determine the nutritional knowledge level and habits of the short distance runners

who are in the national team of Athletics. Athletics Federation of Turkey between the years 2015-2020 due

to the survey-23 in the Junior and Senior categories; 12 Women, 38 Men athletes who participated in 100m,

200m and 400m branches attended. A questionnaire consisting of 21 questions was applied to the

participants. While evaluating the findings obtained in the study, SPSS 21.0 Statistics package program was

used for statistical analysis. Descriptive statistical methods (Frequency, Percentage, Average, Standard

deviation) method were used while evaluating the study data. The results were evaluated at 95% confidence

interval and p <0.05 significance level. 64.0% (32 people) of the study participants were aged 23 and over,

36.0% (18 people) of age 23 and below. The participants were distributed as 56.0% (28 People) University,

34.0% (17 People) High School, 10.0% (5 People) Secondary School according to their educational status. As

a result of the analysis, it was determined that the opinions they expressed in the healthy diet scale did not

differ according to their age (Sig.p.> 0.05). According to the analysis of the differences, the knowledge level

of the athlets who graduated from the university according to the educational status of the athlets, who were

graduated from the university, was more It was found to be at a high level.
