Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin kayıtlı oldukları bölümlere yönelik tutumlarının okul başarılarına olan etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma tarama modelinde betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması yapılan “Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Öğrenim Gördükleri Bölüme Karşı Tutumları Ölçeği” ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni G.Ü. Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi öğrencileridir. Örneklemi ise farklı bölümlerden rastgele seçilen 298 öğrencidir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SSPS programı ile analiz edilerek tablolaştırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri bölümlere yönelik tutumları ile başarıları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığı tek yönlü varyans analizi ile incelenmiş, başarı ile tutum arasında p<.05 düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Okul başarısı ile tutum arasında ilişki olup olmadığını belirlemek için pearson momentler korelasyon katsayısı hesaplanmış, r=.22 düzeyinde olumlu yönde ilişki bulunmuştur.

The Effect of the Attitudes of the Students at the Faculty of Vocational Education on the Department They Study Abstract The purpose of the current study was to determine the effect of the attitudes of the students attending to the Faculty of Vocational Education on the department at which they are registered.

The research is a descriptive one. The data at the research was obtained through (The Scale of the Attitude of the Students Studying at the Faculty of Vocational Education against the Department They Study”. The population of the study was made up of the students at Gazi University, Faculty of Vocational education. The sampling of the study was comprised of 298 students chosen randomly from different departments. Whether there was a significant difference between the attitudes of the students against the department they study and their success was examined through one way variance analysis and a significant difference was found between the success and attitude at a level of p<.05. In order to determine whether there was a difference between school success and attitude Pearson Moments Correlation coefficient was calculated and a positive correlation was found(r=.22).
