Copyright © 2022 by Türkiye Klinikleri.The incidence of congenital diaphragmatic hernias in live births is approximately 1:3000. Morgagni hernia, which is one of the four types of diaphragmatic hernia, is rarer than other types, tends to be asymptomatic and is diagnosed late. Morgagni hernia, which is one of the pathologies that should be evaluated in the differential diagnosis of pneumonia, may present with respiratory distress most frequently in infants, and recurrent respiratory tract infections or non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms in patients presenting late. It may also remain asymptomatic until adulthood. The standard treatment for a Morgagni hernia is surgical closure of the defect by laparotomy or thoracotomy. In this case report, 2 cases who were admitted to the hospital due to recurrent respiratory distress from the neonatal period until the diagnosis were presented.
