Abstract

This study is about using artificial neural networks for population growth forecasting. The results obtained by artificial neural networks and regression technique are compared to those obtained by growth rate of the fishes caught from the natural ecology and von Bertalanffy growth model. It is shown that artificial neural network is a good tool for forecasting of growth model.
