The purpose of the present study is to examine Turkish preservice teachers' perception of patriotism and global citizenship. This study aims to investigate whether there are some correlations between dimensions of patriotism and global citizenship. The authors applied the correlational survey method for the study. The simple random sampling method was used to determine 202 preservice teachers. The authors used the Global Citizenship Scale and the Patriotism Attitude Scale to collect data. The results showed that there was significant correlation between constructive patriotism and social responsibility, global competence, and global civic engagement. Also, findings of the current study showed that preservice teachers' aspects of constructive patriotism were a significant predictor of their aspects of social responsibility, global competence, and global civic engagement.
