Özet
The CdTe/CdS thin film solar cell structure was deposited on the fluorine tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrate using radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering system. CdTe/CdS thin film solar cells were produced using back metal contacts (Pt, Ni, Au, and Ag) with different work functions. The structural properties of the thin film were analyzed by X-ray Diffraction (XRD) method. For all solar cells, the fundamental solar cell parameters such as short circuit current (I-SC), open-circuit voltage (V-OC), fill factor (FF), and energy conversion efficiency (eta) were determined from current-voltage (I-V) characteristics in the dark and under AM1.5G (100 mW/cm(2)).
