This paper describes an improved reference source that can produce Common Mode (CM) and Differential Mode (DM) separately. The reference source is used in conducted emission tests verification setup and Inter-laboratory Comparison (ILC) measurement. Conducted emission tests are important Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests that are performed by using Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN) and an EMI receiver in laboratories in accordance with emission standards such as MIL-STD-461G, RTCA/DO-160G, CISPR32 and CISPR 25. Each accredited EMC testing laboratory must carry out verifications using standard or own method to guarantee the accuracy and precision of test results. Moreover, the verification method reveals errors in the test setup beforehand and prevent incorrect testing in accordance with IEC17025. In this study, we introduce the design and production of the reference source, which meets the essential requirements of this standard. Finally, using the newly designed reference source, conducted emission test comparison measurements were carried out with the participation of three EMC laboratories within ASELSAN and the measurement results were presented.
