In the movie Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalim, which is an adaptation to Turkish Cinema of Cengiz Aytmatov's famous work "Kizil Cooluk Calcahm", the power of the close-up shot is assessed within the framework of the heavy responsibility taken on by the actor playing in close-up and the contribution the technique makes to the language of cinema.
