Özet

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of job satisfaction on the performance of teachers in Turkey and Kazakhstan In accordance with this purpose, three big cities of Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir) and four of Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Karaganda and Cimkent), in which most teachers are employed were included in the scope of this study The sample size was calculated as 383 for Turkey and as 382 for Kazakhstan The questionnaires were applied to 1042 randomly selected teachers from Turkey and 420 teachers from Kazakhstan The collected data were analyzed in SPSS-(Statistical Program for Social Sciences) pocket program According to the result of the analysis, a significant relationship was found between job satisfaction and performance of Turk and Kazakh teachers Also, the differentiation of the relationship between job satisfaction and performance was examined in terms of gender and working years
