Özet

Production amount and production quality are directly related to employees' performance levels. Improper working environments and working postures lead to significant decreases in employee performance. At th same time improper working postures may cause musculoskeletal disorders. Ergonomics science evaluates the risks of these effects in various ways and provides solutions. In this study, the posture and position analysis of the crucible preparation process in a foundry factory was performed by using digital human modeling (DHM) and simulation in CATIA V5 software. Using the obtained posture and position angle values, the risk of musculoskeletal system disorders which can be formed by Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method was evaluated. As a result, necessary improvements were made and solution suggestions were presented.
