Line source diffraction by a material junction in a magnetized plasma medium

Özet
In this study, diffraction of waves by a planar junction of impedance and conductive sheets immersed in a magnetized plasma medium is investigated. A dielectric tensor matrix characterizes the medium. An external uniform magnetic field is taken parallel to the junction. A magnetic line source in which the produced magnetic field is parallel to the intersection is considered and located at an arbitrary distance from the intersection. The diffracted and geometric optics waves are evaluated using an integral method associated with the scattered waves. The evaluated waves are represented by the Fresnel integral, and their far-field behaviors are investigated numerically.
