Özet

This study was an attempt to prepare a prolonged release pentoxifylline tablet with chitosan. Effects of chitosan on the release profile of pentoxifylline were studied using USP XXII paddle method. Dissolution studies were carried out at pH 1.2 followed by pH 4.0 and finally by pH 7.0 for 1.5, 2.5 and 4 h, respectively.
