Özet

Purpuricenus variicollis sp. nov. is described from Diyarbakır province (Eğil district) in South-Eastern Anatolian region of Turkey on the base of coloration of pronotum especially. It also is illustrated and distinguished from related congeners, Purpuricenus wachanrui Levrat from Turkey and Purpuricenus nanus Semenov from Iran.
