A new species of Alkanna Tausch (Boraginaceae) from south-west Anatolia

Özet

A new species of Alkanna Tausch, A. mughlae H. Duman, Guner & H. Sagban sp. nov., is described and illustrated. The species is restricted to the south-western corner of Anatolia growing on coastal limestone cliffs. Diagnostic morphologic characters for a detailed discrimination from the most similar taxa are discussed. (C) 1999 The Linnean Society of London.
