Özet

The concepts of tradition and culture are very often discussed issues today since the effects of the globalization. Cultural and traditional changes and transformations can be traced within this process. Cabaret Theaters are one of the places where have been chosen by the heroes who are face to be extinct in this period. The Cabaret Theaters is like a living space of traditional heroes in today. By using western theaters techniques, Cabaret Theater brings to traditional issues to present and it has created own particular style. Therefore, Cabaret Theater which was set from the idea of Haldun Taner can be evaluated as a result of his "expansion to global with particular properties" idea. The reason for choosing Devekusu Cabaret Theater in this study is that its original structure which blends Western Theater and Traditional Turkish Theater. Because of that reasons that mentioned above, it may be accepted that Devekusu Cabaret Theater has added a new breathe to the present theaters. In this study, in the light of Devekusu Cabaret Theater as a modern product, it will be highlighted that performative events can reflect daily life by containing the process of cultural changes and transformations.
