Abstract

Due to decrease in the cost of personal computer and several easily accessible software packages, computer-aided training has been became the most important technique regarding to other education methods in recent years. In this study, a training tool has been developed to analyze the serial and parallel RLC circuits which are one of the basic topics in the field of electrical engineering. For this purpose, a visual interface has been designed with C#.NET called as visual C Sharp in order to analyze basic RLC circuits in MATLAB((R)) environment using MATLAB((R)) Builder(TM) NE toolbox. Students can visually analyze by changing simulation parameters of RLC circuits via the graphical user interface developed.
