Özet

Island of Golyazi and peninsula is located in the Lake of Uluabat, in Bursa, Turkey. There was severe construction work when Miletos colonies lived 2. BC and Pergamon Kingdom 3. BC. Golyazi become archaeological conservation area at 1998. There are 87 civil architectural buildings at under protection. Hagios Konstantinos Church, Apolyon Ramparts, cemetery, mosque and bath under protection, too, on island and peninsula. Geophysical (GPR and magnetic) and archaeometric researches were conducted to show buried remains. GPR research were conducted in 391 different places, accounting totally for 300000m(2) fields. Data were collected along parallel lines spaced by 50 cm. Totally, there are 1947 GPR data. In addition to this, we conducted magnetic research in different 21 places by fluxgate gradiometer. Finally, we conducted an archaeometric research with 26 historical remain samples from island and peninsula. All GPR were processed and analyzed in two and three dimensions. There were not much buried infrastructure elements at the study area. It is a significant advantage for the detection of elements of archaeological ruins. All results were evaluated all together and all possible buried remains were marked on a map and their relation with neighboring research places were investigated. We located possible historical remains and we learned about historical texture and it's main element and culture. So that our study will give a direction to the archaeological excavations.
