Özet

The paper presents a taxonomic evaluation on subgeneric arrangement of the genus Closterus Audinet-Serville. Accordingly, Closterus (Breviramicornus) subgen. nov. is proposed, described and presented with some species that were previously placed to the genus, Closterus Audinet-Serville.
