Özet

The aim of this study is to examine the resaons why left hand usage is left behind right hand usage and the compatibility of equipment used in daily life for left hand usage despite the fact that it constitutes 10% of the world population. Upon defining the aim and significance of the study, starting from the primitive era considering the right and left concepts in religions, the left and right handedness, social considerations and the impact of left handness on children's education are investigated from a scientific point of view. According to the data received, design, product-consumer relations and universal design concepts are studied and the compatibility of everyday life products for left handed and the special products designed by regarding the troubles of left handed people are evaluated to set a conceptual frame.
