The aim of this study is to determine how the service activities affect urban development in Istanbul metropolitan areas. In this context, the spatial distribution of service activities within the city of the areal specialization or congurent structure or overlapping activities through districtlevel is to be determined. Relations between districts and distribution of service activities belonging to districts are investigated via correspondence and clustering analysis methods and a technique, which gives the opportunity to examine the relations between the categories of each variable and the cross relations present between variables in a categorical basis by Bertin charts and correspondence maps in connection with Istanbul is utilized. In conclusion, based on TUIK (Turkey Statistical Institute) and ITO (Istanbul Trade Chamber) records of services performed analysis of changes in spatial organization allows the empirical findings to the discovery and is distinguished from other studies with this feature.
