Abstract

In this study; it was examined the growth properties (length and weight) of fish by modern (artificial neural networks) and traditional approaches (Length Weight Relationship). ANNs were considered to be an option in the evaluation of growth properties. The potential use of accurate forecasts in decision making and fisheries management are supported directly by the findings of the present study.
