Duodenal stenosis and atresia are the most common gastrointestinal tract abnormalities seen in patients with Down's syndrome. Although duodenal atresia presents within the first days of life, the presentation of duodenal stenosis may be delayed. Flexible upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is a valuable tool for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures concerning gastrointestinal abnormalities. We report a 2-year-old boy with Down's syndrome who had duodenal stenosis due to a membranous web and who was diagnosed using upper intestinal endoscopy.
