This study contains the research of the values of moment capacitiy of the "L" type corner joints in ready to assemble (RTA) furniture with case construction. In the experiments, 18 mm thickness range of materials, particleboard (PB), medium density fiberboard (MDF), okume plywood (OP), and oriented strand board (OSB) are preferred. Three different types of fasteners (minifix+dowel, dowel pincoupler+dowel, trapezoidal+dowel) were used. Diagonal compression test was applied to 60 specimens prepared with universal testing machine. According to the results of the tests, the highest moment capacity was obtained on the plywood okume trapezoidal+dowel joints, while the lowest moment capacity was obtained on the minifix+dowel combined with particleboards. As a result, the product's performance can be increased in producing disassembled furniture with case construction by using plywood okume as a material and trapezoidal+dowel as a fastener.
