Abstract

center dot Objectives: To determine the significance of a newly described marker of inflammation procalcitonin (PCT), and to investigate its relationship to conventional markers of inflammation, such as C-reactive protein (CRP), fibrinogen, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), in patients on peritoneal dialysis (PD) and with peritonitis.
