Numerous research studies have been conducted in order to determine the success of the jacketing method in columns of square and circular geometry. The distinction of the current study from the existing studies is the investigation of the applicability of the jacketing method for columns of rectangular geometry. In this experimental study, five rectangular reinforced concrete column specimens were prepared and nine experiments were conducted on these specimens. Besides, one monolithic (cast at once) reference specimen was produced and tested. Repair, strengthening and revival processes were performed on the specimens and tested under concentric loads. Parameters, such as strength, rigidity, and ductility were examined using the results obtained from these tests. Strength, rigidity, and ductility were examined and it concluded that the jacketing method can be applied for repair, strengthening, and re-repair of rectangular columns according to the results obtained from this experimental study.
